My summer trip
Another weekend came in our summer vacation.Our children planned to go to Chikmaglore.We started our tour to Chikmaglore on16th 10P.M.We reached that town at 5A.M on7th.Really its a beautiful n fantastic place.The place is full of greenery n co lour ful flowers.As soon as we reached that place we went for a walk to enjoy the Nature's Beauty.We were exited by seeing the high mountains, tall coffee trees ,wild flowers with different colors.We were free from our tiredness because of the beauty of the nature.After one hour we hardly came back to our home stay why because we want to go to Srungeri.After refreshment we started to Srungeri.The way from chikmaglore to Srungeri is very beautiful.WE traveled about 60 K.M on Ghat road n reached Srungeri
Srungeri is the pious place.JagadGuru Adi Sankaracharya founded Shakti peetas.This Srungeri is the first shakti Peeta.Shakti peeta meansholy place of cosmic power of Godess Shakti,the female principal of Hinduism.Lord Brahman and Lord Vishnu Prayed Lord Shiva to protect sanathana Dharma and to establish peace on the Earth.Lord Shiva he himself took human birth to protect the Earth.He was born to Shiva Guru and Aryamba at Kaladi in Kerala.Parents named him as Sankara.Later he took sanyasa asrama and became Sankara Acharya.Once upon a time in some place a frog was labour pains and a snake guarded this frog from Sun.So Sankara chose this place to found Shakti Peeta,that is Srungeri.Sankara Charya deity Sharadamba.Deity of Sharada Devi is besutiful.In Srungeri food is serving freely to all the people who visits that place.It'amazing the hygine food was served to thuosands of people with in minitues.We took our lunch there and started to HORANADU,to visit Annapurna temple.After one hour we returned to Chikmaglore.We were dam tired and afterdinner we slept.
On Monday we started to Mulyana Giri,40K.M away from Chikmaglore.It's a beautiful place.Mulyana giri is the highest peak in Karnataka.Aha Aha we climbed 572 steps and reached the peak.There we enjoyed cool breezes.After an hour we came down and took our lunch.Already I told u Chikmaglore is famous for coffee.So we went for coffee shopping .Coffee museum is also there in Chikmaglore,but because of lack of time we didn't visit that.WE came to our Home stay,after refreshment we went to see coffee Estate of Mr.Ansari the owner of our Home stay.Mr.Ansari explained us about coffee and pepper cultivation.He also explained how they are working for the protection of Environment.We spent about two hours there and came back.We took our dinner and started to Banglore and reached at 4A.M.
WE enjoyed the trip a lot.It's my duty to say thanks to my children Prakash and AArthi,this lots of joy n enjoyment is only because of them,but we missed Bobby n Pooja.We planned to come again to chikmaglore along with bob n pooja.

MY TRIP TO MYSORE
After that we took some rest and moved to Mysore Maha Raja Place.Marvelous splendid consruction .It was an in Indo sarsanic style.Raja Krishna Raja Sagar's and his family members photos were painted by Ravivarama .The paintings were excellent.The beautiful designs and Dasavataras were painted beautifully on the ceilings.They were amazing.Darbar Hall was decorated Excellently.No words are there to explain, the designs decorations, paintings wooden carvings etc.
Lastly we went to world famous ,"Brindavan Gardens.There we saw gardens,fountains and musical fountains.I expected a lot about Brindavan Gardens but it disappionted me.
From there, we started our return journey.Onthe way we had our dinner at Kamat Hotel.Lastly we reached home at 0.30 A.M. I enjoyed the trip a lot .I spent the whole day with my children. I enjoyed this rather than site seeing.Totally Mysore trip is the memoarable trip.
Lastly we went to world famous ,"Brindavan Gardens.There we saw gardens,fountains and musical fountains.I expected a lot about Brindavan Gardens but it disappionted me.

yesterday along with my family I visited some places nearer to Banglore.First we went to Raganatha Swamy's temple at Sri Rangapatanam.The statue of Sri Ranganatha is in lying posture.It is the biggest Ranganatha statue in India.It was constructed by Thirumalaraya in 894A.D . The pillars in the temple were beautifully carved in different styles.The carvings are amazing. In front of the temple a big stone pillar was erected in memory of the victory of Vijayanagara kings.I liked the image of swami sri Ranganatha.
Then we moved to Rangan Thittu ,"Bird Sanctury".Wonderful place with full of greenery.The way to this place is full of greenery.It's like a green carpet with different green colour shadings.There we saw different kinds n colours of birds which were migrated from different parts of the world.Bird migration is very interesting .some of the birds can travel from Alaska without taking rest.Its amazing how these birds knows the way?How they know the beginning n ending of the seasons?How can they know the places which are suitable to their survival?Its amazing how these birds are migrating to the same place every year?There we enjoyed the boat ride.
After that we started to Silk city "Mysore".Onthe way we saw the sugar city Mandya .We went to hotel n took our lunch.

What A Tradition ?
one of my close relative said that history is the alergy subject to her.Immediately I remembered the story in SudhaMurthy's book"How I Taught My Grand MotherTo Read And Other Stories".
I like 'The story in that book named is "A Wedding In Russia".There is a custom in Russia that immediatley after signing the register at the marriage office ,married couple must visit the nearby National monument.The newly married couple wanted to show their gratitude n seek blessigs from their forefathers who sacrificed their lives for the country n gave them the oppurtunity to live in Independent peaceful Russia. What A Great Tradition! Hats off to Russians.But how many of us know about the sacrifices made by our forefathes?How many of us know about the First War of Independece?how many of us know about Bhagat singh,Raj Guru,Allurietc.,who sacrificed their lives for the country?How many of us know about the patriots who were sent to Cellular Jail and became Gallows?
Some of us donot know the difference between the IndependeceDay and Republic Day.Now a days it is the fashion to say that History is Allergy to them.Do they know all the developments in the modern world are because of History?
Not only the younger generations but the elderly people are also not knowing the importance of History. Elderly people are insiting the younger generations to mug the formulae in Mathematics and Phsysics to get seat in IIT's for well settlement and to earn fat salaries.
When are we going to learn "That Education is for Life but not for Living"?
